Chen Partners serves small- and middle-market companies across North America.

We’re often brought in by private-equity firms or other financial backers to assist with a portfolio company pending or following an acquisition. Often, the search is part of an overall cultural shift needed for the company to achieve its goals.

We work across all industries and functions. Social media make this possible. Formerly, we as recruiters worked in silos on the basis of industry niches. Search was a highly exclusive game of musical chairs, and we closely guarded our candidate databases, moving candidates around within each industry and function. Because it was very costly to identify and track down candidates outside our own arena we specialized by industry.

Today, however, as markets shift ever more rapidly, the best ideas and skills for a given client may lie outside its industry niche, and the Internet now enables us to search the market at large. We have the business experience and search expertise to leverage all of that media to help our clients succeed.
